- Unfulfilled promises: The space that was supposed to be decorated was completely unprepared.
- Logistical shortcomings: Food for the event was brought from another inn (Gostilna Godec-Borovnica), which calls into question the Cankarjev Hram kitchen's own capabilities to prepare food for larger groups.
- Insufficient food: There was clearly not enough food for 55 people. Bread, salad, and one of the ordered meats were missing. There was only enough vegetable spread for five people, and štruklji for not even thirty. The ordered grilled vegetables were not even available.
- Poor service: Even at the event, the waiters were mostly absent, and guests had to find their own drinks.
- Overall impression: Considering the price of €23 per person (without drinks), the service was "abysmal" and completely unworthy of its price, according to the guest.

There seems to be a decline in quality, as some customers mention that everything was significantly better under the previous management. Potential guests should therefore be aware of the risks before visiting and adjust their expectations accordingly. While it may be perfectly suitable for a quick lunch or drink, based on the experiences described, larger and more important events seem too big a risk.
