The catering offer also received many compliments. The beef čevapčiči were particularly highlighted, which one guest described as "hot, excellent and in a large portion". The general assessment that the food was "top" indicates that the kitchen clearly mastered its business and knew how to prepare dishes that satisfied the taste buds of visitors. In addition to classic dishes, their menu also offered more modern drinks such as "slushy" and "bubble tea", which indicates an adaptation to modern trends and a desire to attract a wider range of guests, including families and young people.
The Two Faces of Service: Between Legend and Shame
The biggest difference in opinions and the focal point of this analysis is definitely the service . The guests' experiences are so diametrically opposed that it's hard to believe that it's the same restaurant. On the one hand, we have reviews that praise the staff. One of the most bizarre cases is the story of a guest who ordered only drinks with his company. After five minutes, a waitress allegedly approached them and (albeit kindly) asked them to leave because they had not ordered the main special of the day – roast suckling pig. Such an attitude towards guests who do not want to spend a large sum of money is unacceptable in the world of hospitality and shows arrogance and a lack of basic respect for customers.
The Darkest Side: Allegations of Attempted Fraud
Even more worrying is the detailed account of a guest who accused the staff of attempting to cheat when issuing the bill. His experience served as a serious warning. After ordering two coffees and three juices, the waitress verbally announced the amount of €13.30. When the guest wanted to pay with €15, she replied that the bill was actually €23.30. After logical astonishment and a request for a printout of the bill, the waitress took €10 from the table herself after a few minutes and left, saying that she "didn't give a damn" and that the place would honor them. The guest never received the bill.
A later check of the price list online showed that the correct amount would be around €12.90, which means that it was an attempt to unjustifiably charge an additional €10.40. Such an act, if true, not only reflects poorly on the individual employee, but on the entire restaurant and its management. This is extremely unprofessional and illegal behavior that destroys any trust and reputation. The word "shame" with which the guest concluded his review is completely understandable in this context.

The fact that Dolinka River Lounge is closed today may not be directly related to these incidents, but the story of the establishment serves as an important lesson for everyone in the hospitality industry. It shows how quickly a few extremely negative experiences can overshadow all the positive aspects, such as good food , a pleasant atmosphere and some friendly staff. Unpredictable service is what destroys restaurant reviews and turns away potential customers.
A guest entering a restaurant should not play the lottery as to whether they will be served with respect or fall victim to arrogance and dishonesty.
